Faulkner sworn into Mississippi House of Representatives

John FaulknerRep. John Faulkner (D-Holly Springs) was sworn in to the Mississippi House of Representatives Dec. 19. He won the special run-off election on November 26 to fill the seat vacated by former Rep. Kelvin Buck, who is now the Mayor of Holly Springs. Rep. Faulkner was joined by family members and friends including his mother, Celestine Faulkner; brother, Ivory Faulkner; brother, Rodney Lowe; uncle, Reverend Robert Smith; Holly Springs Mayor Kelvin Buck; Rep. Bill Kinkade; Sen. Bill Stone; and Alderwoman, Bernita Fountain. The 2014 Regular Legislative Session begins at noon on January 7, 2014.
