BSC To Conduct One Last World Softball Tourney

The 2015 Softball Season is primarily over but that does not mean every team will put up their cleats. The Black Softball Circuit (BSC) is offering on last chance for some squads to win championship rings.

On October 10-11, Chattanooga, Tennessee will play host to the BSC Fall World Series. As a result, 91 teams from all over the country are expected to invade the Volunteer State for an opportunity to call themselves a champion. This will include severalrosters from Mississippi such as Streets Stars of Forest and Eureka Tigers of Hattiesburg.

Although the deadlined has passed to enter the tournament all is not lost should some teams decided to withdraw but other can be mindful of this opportunitythis time next season.

With that tin mind, the Fall World Series will consist of six divisions. Although the tournament will mainly draw teams for the men’s recreation last chance division, a men’s recreation bracket will be drawn for those who won previous tournament in 2015. Men 40 and over, men 50 and over, women 35 and over and coed division will round out the weekend of competition.

“Any teams not eligible for the last challenge division can play in the tournament of champion divisions,” said tournament director Clay Dickey. “However please be aware of the guidelines.”

One of the rules that Dickey is referring to disqualifies players from participating who were not on a BSC roster during the season.

“You many only have rec players that have played in at least two BSC tournaments,” he continued.

Dickey also indicated that no one is allowed to have players from other teams that have been flagged ineligible for the last chance division.

The winner of each division will receive 16 championship rings, pullovers, t-shirts and sponsor awards. Second and third place item will also be awarded.
